Why is President Mattarella referred to as Mr. Mattarella by Sinner?

That strange "Mr. Mattarella" thrown at the President of the Republic by Sinner. Damato's Scratches.

Not to spoil his celebration, but only to complain about the abuse he made of it, I find that “Mr. Mattarella” hardly appropriate, to say the least, and I don’t think it went unnoticed, but was given with full reductive awareness to the President of the Republic by Jannik Sinner while receiving from his hands the trophy won at the Foro Italico 50 years earlier by the Italian tennis champion Adriano Panatta. Who embraced him without being rejected, fortunately, or only restrained.

Following the skipping of an audience at the Quirinale because he was physically tired from another competition he faced, that terse “Mr. Mattarella” given to the Head of State seems simply and harshly an insult, moreover undeserved by the longest-serving holder of the office of President of the Republic and accessories.

Pretending nothing happened and smiling at what would be considered just an unconscious gaffe, I consider a mistake in these times, a distraction or mass rudeness. Practiced, moreover, even at the international level, for example even by the American president Donald Trump when speaking about the fellow countryman Pope Leo XIV.
