A correspondence or exploration, let’s call it that, of Forza Italia just appeared in Il Foglio and is signed by Carmelo Caruso, somehow confirming Marina Berlusconi’s role as queen or director, depending on the moment or preferences, of the party founded by her father. And formally led as secretary by Antonio Tajani, also Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, therefore quite busy, especially in a difficult international context, to say the least, like the current one.
But it seems, precisely from Caruso’s correspondence or exploration, that Silvio Berlusconi’s eldest daughter is beginning to feel somewhat uneasy with the political experience attributed to her and has already exposed herself to inappropriate suspicions about her relationships not so much with Tajani, but with Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. Of whom, however, she is keen to make known, perhaps awaiting some more public statements, that she retains the utmost esteem. It is unknown whether to the point of sharing her displeasure over certain surprises frequently reserved for her by guests and others on the journalistic broadcasts of Rete 4 of the Biscione. To which it seems that, as retaliation or prudence, parliamentarians and members of the Meloni party have been invited not to participate anymore.
Marina Berlusconi, the older one, appreciates and shares not only Meloni’s government action but also the interest in a new electoral law, yet another one, which however is not functional to a tie. Which would instead be the desired result of those who want and have an interest in breaking down the two poles, or blocks, respectively, of the majority and the opposition. Perhaps to make Forza Italia the decisive component of a center-right or center-left, indifferently, according to a scheme once proposed in the PD by Dario Franceschini hoping that sooner or later the Forzisti would realize the “golden action” hidden in their wallets by breaking away from their current allies.
All calm, reassured, reconciled in the center-right and in the blue party founded by the late Silvio Berlusconi? Curiously, the very backstage observer and explorer of Il Foglio seems to doubt it in the conclusion of his report.
