Generally confined indoors, promoted – and conspicuously – to the front page only by Maurizio Belpietro’s La Verità, happy about the stumble of those dreaming of electoral ties to detach Forza Italia from the center-right, Marina Berlusconi issued a statement to deny the most detailed journalistic backstory – that of La Stampa – which had attributed to her the authorship of that project. And even the participation in it of the old but still active, tireless Gianni Letta as ambassador or something else of Marina, and more generally of the Berlusconi family, to the PD. Or that part of the PD, just feared and denounced also by Goffredo Bettini speaking with Il Foglio, eager to free itself from the constraints and strong ambitions of Giuseppe Conte. In particular by replacing him in a new governing majority, of a technical or emergency nature, with the party to which Marina Berlusconi admitted to be linked with her heart, and something more, for the thirty years of life given to it by her father founding and leading it also in phases of broad agreements, as in the times of the governments of Mario Monti, Enrico Letta, and Mario Draghi, in chronological order.
Following Marina Berlusconi’s denial note of her involvement in maturing a bipartisan succession, and then influencing Sergio Mattarella’s subsequent succession at the Quirinale, a meeting could soon follow between Marina herself and the Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in person. A meeting, perhaps prepared behind the usual scenes always by Gianni Letta, also functional to deny, overcome, and whatever else the signs perceived by many, between reports and backstories, of discontent or similar feelings of the Prime Minister and her friends and party leaders for the critical treatment reserved for the government by the most political network, the fourth, of the Biscione television. Where the pluralism particularly boasted by Pier Silvio Berlusconi would play more against than in favor of Meloni, brothers and sisters of Italy.
