Fastlane 2030, here are the 128 slides of Stellantis’ new plan

What emerges from the 128 slides of Stellantis' plan for regaining competitiveness called Fastlane 2030

How much and how will Stellantis’ new strategic plan really be implemented? This is what analysts and industry observers are wondering after the Investor Day in which the automotive company’s top management presented the five-year strategic plan Fastlane 2030. Here are all the details.

STELLANTIS’ NEW PLAN IN A NUTSHELL

Stellantis presented at the Auburn Hills Investor Day the five-year strategic plan FaSTLAne 2030, totaling 60 billion euros, structured around six pillars: brand portfolio management, investments in global platforms and technologies, partnerships, industrial optimization, execution excellence, and regional enhancement.

WHAT CEO FILOSA SAID

CEO Antonio Filosa stated: “FaSTLAne 2030 is the result of months of disciplined work throughout the Company and is designed to drive profitable long-term growth. With the customer at the center of everything we do, the plan will achieve our purpose, which is to “enable people to move with the brands and products they love and trust,” fueled by our unique combination of strengths.”

“We have fantastic people, the power of global scale, unmatched brands that know how to connect and inspire, strong local roots in our regions and dealer partners to meet the distinctive needs of our customers, and a constant focus on innovation and execution excellence. With these strengths, we are in a privileged position to deliver value, functionality, and accessibility. Added to these are the benefits of acceleration and amplification from our ‘win-win’ partnerships: we have everything we need to realize our FaSTLAne 2030 ambitions,” he added.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO STELLANTIS’ BRANDS

Regarding the brand portfolio, the plan refocuses resources on four global brands — Jeep, Ram, Peugeot, and FIAT — which will receive 70% of investments in brands and products along with Pro One. The five regional brands (Chrysler, Dodge, Citroën, Opel, and Alfa Romeo) will share the same global assets. DS and Lancia will be managed respectively by Citroën and FIAT as specialized brands. Maserati will be strengthened with two new models in the E segment; a detailed roadmap will be presented in Modena in December 2026. By 2030, more than 60 new vehicle launches and 50 significant updates are planned, including 29 BEVs, 15 PHEV/REEVs, and 24 hybrids.

KEY FIGURES OF THE PLAN

Over 24 billion (40% of the total) will go into global platforms, powertrains, and technologies. 50% of annual volumes will be produced on three global platforms by 2030, including the brand-new STLA One. STLA Brain, SmartCockpit, and AutoDrive technologies will be launched in 2027 and will reach 35% of volumes by 2030, rising to over 70% by 2035.

OUTLOOK FOR EUROPE AND NORTH AMERICA

On the industrial front, in Europe capacity will be reduced by over 800,000 units through reconversions (Poissy) and partnerships (Madrid, Zaragoza, Rennes), raising plant utilization from 60% to 80% by 2030. Europe will also see the launch of the E-Car, a new generation of urban electric vehicles produced in Pomigliano d’Arco. The Value Creation Program aims at a 6 billion annual cost reduction by 2028. Time-to-market will be reduced from 40 to 24 months.

By region: North America aims for +25% revenue and 8-10% AOI margin with 11 new models, receiving 60% of the 36 billion allocated to brands and products; expanded Europe targets +15% revenue and 3-5% AOI margin; South America +10% and 8-10% AOI margin; Middle East and Africa +40% and 10-12% AOI margin.
