The most controversial American data intelligence company reinforces its alliance with the Mountain View tech giant.
Yesterday Palantir Technologies announced a multi-level partnership with Google Cloud, which will enable top-tier integrations between Google Cloud platforms and make Palantir available on Google Cloud Marketplace.
As part of this collaboration, the California-based data mining company founded by Peter Thiel will handle several key integrations for existing and new customers, explains a note.
Palantir’s stock reacted positively to the announcement, only to close the session slightly down along with the tech sector. Founded in 2003 and listed on Nasdaq, Palantir boasts deep ties with U.S. intelligence services and military agencies, on Israel’s side in the war against Hamas.
Recently, the company has been in the spotlight for its Maven Smart System, a digital command and control platform that the U.S. armed forces use for real-time target detection and prioritization in support of combat operations in Iran and Venezuela. U.S. President Donald Trump praised Palantir’s “war capabilities and equipment.”
Meanwhile, in Europe, some prefer not to forge ties with the company led by Alex Karp. Most recently, Germany’s domestic intelligence agency opted for a data analysis system developed by the French AI company ChapsVision, favoring it over the solution offered by the American Palantir. This choice can be seen as a sign of growing attention by German authorities (and beyond) towards European solutions for the most sensitive digital infrastructures.

The agreement also includes bidirectional data links between BigQuery and Foundry, as well as semantic exchange between Google’s Knowledge Catalog and Palantir’s Foundry Ontology. The engineering efforts behind this partnership will unlock next-generation efficiencies for customers using BigQuery and Foundry in their businesses.
Furthermore, enhanced connectivity between Gemini, Google’s AI model, and Palantir AIP will enable customers to connect the best available models to their most critical AI workflows and operations.
