Metriks AI is stepping into specialized financial publishing. The technology company listed on Euronext Growth Milan will indeed enter the capital of EdiBeez, publisher of BeBeez, through a reserved capital increase that represents the first step of an industrial partnership focused on the development of the BeBeez Private Data platform.
The news was positively received by the market. On the day of the announcement, Metriks shares recorded a sharp rise on the Milan Stock Exchange, gaining almost 7%.
A CAPITAL INCREASE OF 150 THOUSAND EUROS
The operation involves the subscription by Metriks of a capital increase of 150 thousand euros reserved for the Milanese company. The total increase could reach up to 315 thousand euros and, once the process provided for by the agreements is completed, the stake held by Metriks should stand between 6.3% and 6.7% of EdiBeez’s capital.
The investment will not be made through an immediate cash payment. Metriks will in fact accrue credits towards EdiBeez for the technological development of the BeBeez Private Data platform and these credits will subsequently be converted into company shares. The completion of the operation is expected by December 31, 2026.
The agreement also provides that Metriks becomes the technological partner of the data platform developed by EdiBeez, contributing to the creation of a new version based on artificial intelligence tools.
WHAT CHANGES FOR BEBEEZ PRIVATE DATA
The core of the agreement is BeBeez Private Data, the database developed over the years by EdiBeez to collect and organize information on funds, investors, deals, companies, and operators in the private capital market.
Metriks will take on the role of technological partner for the development, evolution, and maintenance of the platform. The goal is to transform BeBeez Private Data into a system increasingly integrated with artificial intelligence tools, both in terms of access methods to information and in the production and management of data.
The project indeed foresees the creation of an automated system capable of collecting information from articles, press releases, public documents, and regulatory databases, transforming them into structured data through semantic extraction processes based on artificial intelligence and subsequent human validation. All this to expand the coverage of available information, speed up updates, and make database management more efficient.
Alongside this infrastructure, users will be able to query the database in natural language, obtain summaries of deals, information on companies and investors, or select potential targets based on complex criteria without having to navigate through dozens of fields and search parameters.
The agreement also provides for the integration of BeBeez Private Data within Metriks Suite, the proprietary platform of the listed group. A step that should allow the database to also reach Metriks’ corporate clients, expanding its commercial distribution.
“This agreement marks a strategic step for EdiBeez,” commented Stefania Peveraro, president and founder of the company. For Tiziano Cetarini (in the photo), CEO of Metriks, the operation represents “one of the concrete proofs of our vision on agentic AI applied to real industrial contexts.”
THE FIGURES OF EDIBEEZ
EdiBeez was established in 2016 and publishes the titles BeBeez and BeBeez International.
Company documents reveal a small but growing reality. In 2025 the company recorded revenues of about 448 thousand euros, almost double compared to 243 thousand euros the previous year. The loss was reduced to 157,767 euros from 335,707 euros in 2024.
The company is led by Stefania Peveraro, an economic journalist specialized in financial markets and founder of the editorial project, who worked for many years at Milano Finanza.
In recent years a significant part of the investments has been allocated to the development of BeBeez Private Data, a platform that today represents one of the company’s main assets.
METRIKS’ GROWTH AFTER LISTING
The entry into EdiBeez’s capital comes at a time of strong expansion for Metriks.
The company was listed on the Milan Stock Exchange in May 2025, raising about 4.25 million euros. Since then, it has accelerated its growth path both organically and through acquisitions. During 2025, Polo Informatico, Fconn, Fanizza Group, Appare, and Systema joined the group.
The 2025 consolidated financial statement shows revenues of 7.7 million euros, a production value of 8.3 million, an EBITDA of nearly 2 million, and a net profit of about 586 thousand euros.
Even the parent company alone recorded significant growth. Revenues rose to 3.1 million euros from 635 thousand euros in 2024, while profit went from about 22 thousand to 595 thousand euros.
At the end of the fiscal year, the company’s net equity exceeded 6 million euros, with cash availability of over 2.7 million.
AN AGREEMENT LOOKING TO 2026
The operation between Metriks and EdiBeez does not change the control balance of the publishing company but introduces a new industrial partner with specific technological expertise.
In the coming months, attention will focus mainly on the development of the new version of BeBeez Private Data and on the progress of the plan that will lead Metriks to become a shareholder of EdiBeez by the end of 2026.
